Spencer Family Residence

Designed in the Craftsman style, the Spencer residence is nestled into the side of a steep slope. In keeping with the local architectural context, the exterior is of cedar siding, stone pillars, and standing-seam metal roofs. The interior recalls the old lodges of the area, with a vaulted ceiling in the living room and a large stone fireplace containing an entertainment center tucked behind folding doors. Two generous screened porches line the south side of the house, taking advantage of the dramatic view. The house has five bedrooms and five baths, and totals approximately 4000 square feet on three levels.
