We believe the most successful projects are those in which the owner and the architect collaborate to achieve a design that is just as much the owner's as it is the architect's. Only through such collaboration can we create a design that is truly personalized and "right" for each individual client. It is our hope and intent to build that kind of relationship with every client we work with.

Designing a particular home to fit into its site - as opposed to substantially modifying the site to fit the house - is always one of our primary design goals. We believe that a house should exist in harmony with the natural lay of the land rather than impose itself upon its site. To facilitate this relationship, we strive to use materials that complement the architectural design of each home and allow it to blend with its natural surroundings.
